ETS is looking for a highly driven Global Head of Marketing Science to lead and direct our company’s efforts understand customer needs and insights to implement effective strategies to help us achieve corporate revenue goals and mission impact.

As Global Head of Marketing Science, you’ll provide expert mentorship and guidance to a team of marketers across customer insights, competitive intelligence, and performance analytics to drive impact in key regions and business units. This leader will sit on the CMO’s senior leadership team and partner with key leaders across the GMI organization, such as Communications, Brand & Marketing Excellence, Product Development and Innovation, Demand Generation, and Philanthropy, to drive outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute the company's marketing science vision that drives data-driven business decisions to align with overarching business goals.

  • Determine the global approach and metrics for measuring, assessing, and determining performance across customers, competitive opportunities, brand conversion, and customer experience.

  • Set the standard for performance metrics and develop models that measure effectiveness of marketing programs and influence allocation across various marketing channels.

  • Design, commission, and publish key global research and insight studies to enable thought leadership, product development, and category impact.

  • Convey complex data, research, and concepts into clear storytelling of action-oriented insights.

  • Support the innovation process with customer insights, market trends, and concept validation of business and product opportunities.

  • Collect, structure, and analyze data sets from multiple sources and partner with technology to ensure data readiness for use in advanced analytical techniques, predictive modeling that optimize marketing strategies, improve customer targeting, and enhance ROI.

  • Guide investment decisions by developing and refining attribution models to accurately measure the impact of various marketing channels and touchpoints on customer acquisition and retention.

  • Collaborate across all relevant businesses, functions, and markets to ensure commercial goals are achieved with market trends, customer insights, and analytical methods that enable data-driven business decisions.

  • Lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals across customer insights, competitive intelligence, and performance analytics who define best practices and a knowledge-sharing culture.

  • As a member of the Global Marketing & Innovation Senior Leadership Team, help foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration across the organization.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • MBA or master’s degree in marketing, business administration, data science, or related field preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • International or global experience preferred

  • Experience across B2C and B2B preferred

  • 10+ years of progressively greater responsibility in marketing, customer insights, and analytics

  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.

  • Proven track record of applying advanced analytical techniques to drive successful marketing strategies and executions; as well as supporting the innovation process with customer insights and validation.

  • Data-driven mindset, capable of using analytics to drive decision-making and optimize marketing effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Proficiency in designing, executing, and analyzing consumer research for data-driven insights.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and inspiring teams while influencing across a global organization.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to convey complex, technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner to all stakeholders.

  • Experience in building and nurturing partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in tools such as Python, R, SQL, and data analysis and visualization platforms.
