Educational Testing Service Compliance Director in Princeton, New Jersey
The Compliance Director will plan and execute on the day to day activities required for the management of the Corporate Compliance Program. They will work with Associate General Counsels to establish applicable legal requirements and to develop corporate compliance policies and with impacted business areas to align business processes, procedures, practices with these legal requirements and corporate compliance policies. The Compliance Director will report directly to Associate General Counsel - Employment and Compliance.
Develop and conduct compliance reviews, assessments, analyses and other business engagement activities within established frameworks to identify, track, and report on the remediation of compliance gaps;
Manage the third party due diligence program in collaboration with the supplier management functions;
Oversee the Corporate Compliance training program;
Develop and prepare meaningful reporting and tracking of compliance activities to enable effective communication to senior management;
Assist in the ongoing development and enhancement of the Program;
Provide compliance support to the Privacy Program and the Chief Privacy Counsel;
Manage ad hoc compliance projects as assigned;
Manage the Sr. Compliance Program Administrator;
Keep current with emerging compliance issues and trends; and
Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function.
Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses:
- Bachelor’s degree is required. CCEP, CCEP-I or similar compliance or privacy related designation is strongly preferred.
Relevant Years of Experience Required:
5-8 years compliance, regulatory, risk or similar experience.
Minimum 2 years managing compliance programs and/or processes.
Prior experience developing and conducting compliance gap or compliance risk assessments
Prior experience conducting or developing employee training
Prior experience managing or supervising others
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines
Strong project management skills
Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint skills
Ability to advise and influence behavior at all levels
